As many regulars attest, the dish embodies a comfort-food essence. The basic fried kuey teow is anything but ordinary; it comes adorned with succulent cockles, crispy pork lard, and, if desired, a golden fried egg—transforming each mouthful into a sumptuous experience. Old school Char Kuey Teow that well known for Klang people for quite long time. The CKT is simple yet flavourful with wok hey but don’t compare with those at Penang. It is a simple and comfort food. You can add on a fried egg and moist CKT with the egg yellow to have more smooth texture. Restaurant is not big and might wait for seat during lunch hour. Plenty parking in front of shop row. Price is quite reasonable. They accept cash only.

For many years, this neighbourhood CKT towkay had been operating this shop. Klangites, in my opinion, are aware of this well-known shop that has just one stall and sells fried kuey teow. I come back to try again after a long absence. Indeed, that is to my taste. The basic fried kuey teow, which includes eggs, cockles, and little bits of lard, has a great ‘wok hei’ and just nice salty taste. It is moist. The serving size is decent and the price is fair. Will visit again.

Close on Sunday. Open all other day from 8-3pm. Parking at the road side/neighbourhood. Very basic old school ckt. Can customised it to your liking. Only chicken egg and cash payment. Good pork lard (crispy). Add your own soy sauce if you find too bland. Got wok hey. Cockles are small, which I like because it won’t be too “bloody”. Just find a seat and the staff will come to you to take your order. Can come to have a “feel” of the environment and memory. But if you come for the taste and oohmpf.. hmm you may be disappointed.

Best Char Kueh Teow in Klang. Have been enjoying this fried Kueh Teow since school day. No Prawn, no lak chung as the authentic klang style CKT. After living in Penang , Taiping, Sitiawan, Ipoh, and KL. This can still make it to one of my top 10 list in whole Malaysia. Ps: One of the hidden gem in Klang that only local know.

I think these is maybe a 55years old single storey shop. Owner(the cook) is 85years old. I am 63yrs old from Port Klang. I can say I have tried out more than 100 over kueh teow shops - penang to sarawak, thailand, singapore and indonesia. So, there is one ingredient which not used much nowadays....but here it was sufficiet to complement the KuehTeow goreng. Today, there was 4people from Kuala Lumpur - 2 indians + 2chineses. B grade but it is clean enough for me.
